HiveLabs is a studio that designs and builds SaaS software for communities and organisations: youth sports clubs, schools and childcare services, independent shops, small service companies. We start from the activities that no tool really follows today, the ones that end up in chats, spreadsheets and paper, and turn them into simple online services, ready to use.
Mission
- Find what’s missing: the activities generic software doesn’t cover, which today weigh on volunteers, club offices and owners.
- Take repetitive work away from people who run a small organisation or keep it going as volunteers.
- Make information clear to everyone so nobody has to chase scattered messages and files.
- Protect people’s data, especially that of children.
How we work
- We build with the people who will use it. Before writing code we run interviews and pilots with the people who will use the product.
- Software as a service. Nothing to install or maintain: it runs in the browser or on the phone and improves with continuous updates.
- Privacy by design. Only the data that is needed, stored in the European Union, never sold and never used for profiling.
- Security to recognised standards. We follow OWASP good practice.
- Simplicity before features. A few clear things beat many confusing ones.
- Modern tools, under human control. We also build with artificial intelligence; decisions and results remain in the hands of people.
